Buongiorno a tutti!!! Mamma da quanto tempo non posto più su queste povere pagine...

Oggi sono qui per presentarvi la mia ispirazione per la Moodboard di Marzo relativa al gioco sul gruppo Mixed Medi@ Italia ...quest'anno abbiamo deciso di cambiare un pò ed abbiamo sostituito le #12MMITags con #MMIFun non più solo tags, ma home decor, layouts, tele ed Art Journal... ed ecco il mio progetto...uno spread sul mio A.J. (che oltre tutto è anche perfetto per la Sfida del Lunedì sul Blog di SIMON SAYS STAMP...)

Hello everyone!!! Oh boy has been so long since my last post on these neglected pages...

Today I am here to show you my inspirational project based on the March Moodboard for our little game on Mixed Medi@ Italia Facebook Group ...this year we have decided to change things a bit and came up with the idea of #MMIFun ...not only tags, but home decors, layouts, canvases and Art Journal pages...and that is exactly what I made...a new spread in my A.J. (which is also perfect for this week's challenge over at SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE BLOG, by the way...)

As usual you will find the supply list at the end of the post...let's get started...

Ho coperto le pagine con uno strato di Gesso Bianco e mentre era ancora bagnato ho spruzzato il Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg, aggiunto acqua e con un pennello ho steso il colore. Ho asciugato bene e ripetuto il processo con D.O.S. Frayed Burlap, ho tamponato il colore in eccesso con della carta accartocciata (che aggiunge anche della texture) ed asciugato. Ho poi premuto il Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap su un pezzo di acetato, spruzzato con acqua e picchiettato sulle pagine, asciugato e ripetuto con D.O. Ground Espresso e Speckled Egg.

I coated the pages with White Gesso and while still wet I sprayed with Distress Oxide Spray Speckled Egg, spritzed with water and used a brush to spread the colour. Dried well then repeated the process with D.O.S. Frayed Burlap, removing the excess with a scrunched up paper towel (which adds also texture) and dried well.   Then I 'smooshed' Distress Oxide Frayed Burlap onto a piece of acetate, spritzed with water and pressed onto the pages, dried and repeated the process with D.O. Ground Espresso and Speckled Egg.

Usando i Distress Inks Speckled Egg, Peacock Feathers e Ground Espresso ho aggiunto una stencilata a forma di farfalla sulla pagina a sinistra in alto a sinistra e nella pagina a destra in basso in mezzo, con il tampone nero waterproof ho aggiunto delle timbrate sia sulla pagina a sinistra in basso che nella pagina a destra, dove volevo il punto focale principale.   Ho poi aggiunto delle timbrate 'riempitive' con i D.O. Black Soot e Peacock Feathers e dei tocchi di modeling paste con uno stencil. Con un pennello asciutto ho aggiunto dei colpi di Gesso Bianco sia nel centro che sui bordi ed asciugato bene.

I stenciled a buttefly using Distress Inks Speckled Egg, Peacock Feathers and Ground Espresso on both pages, then stamped the selected images with a waterproof black ink pad. Stamped some more 'filling' using D.O. Black Soot and Peacock Feathers, then added few touches of modeling paste with another stencil. I drybrushed White Gesso on the center and on the borders of the pages then dried well.

Ho timbrato delle immagini su carta per acquerello e le ho colorate con i materiali che vedete in foto poi le ho ritagliate.

I stamped some images on watercolour paper and coloured them using what you see in the picture below, then fussy cut them.

Ho incollato le varie immagini e decorazioni, aggiunto della garza e del filo nero. Poi ho incollato dei pezzi di washi tape nel centro dello spread e coperto con Soft Matte gel, poi ho aggiunto anche un pò di gesso bianco e tolto l'eccesso con delle salviettine, asciugato ed iniziato ad ombreggiare sia i washi che le pagine con i Distress Crayons: come base ho usato Vintage Photo, poi Walnut Stain, Black Soot e Peacock Feathers. Con il D.O. Black Soot ho aggiunto qualche timbrata ed asciugato.

I glued the images and few decorations, gauze and black thread, then added pieces of washi tape and sealed them with Soft Matte Gel, covered with white gesso and took off the excess with a baby wipe. Added shadows on the washis and on the pages using Distress Crayons: Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain, Black Soot and Peacock Feathers. Added stamping with D.O. Black Soot.

Ciao a tutti! Oggi voglio mostrarvi il mio ultimo lavoro...Come tutti, in questi giorni di incertezza e 'forzato riposo' cerco una valvola di sfogo e come sempre mi nascondo nella mia 'piccola stanzetta' che, per quanto disordinata e disorganizzata rimane sempre il miglior rifugio per la mia anima.

Mi sono dedicata a questo pannello in stile Steampunk, uno dei miei preferiti, attingendo a vari timbri e stencils tutti a marca AALL & Create - in tempi difficili  come questi, molte persone si trovano costrette a reinventarsi, a cercare di pensare fuori dagli schemi... nuove Possibilità...


Hello everyone! Today I want to show you my latest work... Just like many of you, during these days of  uncertainty and 'forced rest', I'm struggling to find some piece of mind and like always I hide in my 'little room', that even if untidy and disorganized is always a safe haven for my soul.

I worked on this panel indulging in one of my fave styles, Steampunk, and using few of my stamps and stencils by AALL & Create  - in difficult times like the ones we are living in, a lot of people are forced to reinvent themselves, to think outside the box... new Possibilies...


Ed ora, senza ulteriori indugi, ecco un mini tutorial... Lista dei materiali alla fine:
And now, without further ado, here's a mini tutorial... Supply list at the end of the post:

Ho usato un cartone spesso, l'ho coperto con gesso bianco, poi a parte ho timbrato l'immagine principale su un pezzo di carta di riso ed incollato sul cartone, poi ho timbrato un'altra immagine nell'angolo opposto alla prima ed ho iniziato a giocare con i colori..
Ho premuto un paio di Oxide (Frayed Burlap e Rusty Hinge) su uno stencil, ho spruzzato con acqua ed appoggiato lo stencil sulla base, tamponando con un foglio di carta, una volta asciutto con un colore a contrasto (Broken China)  ho timbrato in alcuni punti, senza cercare un'immagine definita. Ho spruzzato ancora con acqua, tamponato l'acqua in eccesso ed asciugato bene. Con grafite nera acquarellabile ho evidenziato alcuni punti delle immagini timbrate prima di passare allo step successivo.

I have used a piece of heavy cardboard as a base and covered with white gesso, I have stamped the main image on rice paper then glued to the cardboard; I have stamped another image opposite to the first one and started to play with colours.
I have pressed a couple of Oxide inks pads (Frayed Burlap and Rusty Hinge) on a stencil, sprayed with water and pressed down on the surface, covering the stencil with a paper towel to absorb the excess water, dried very well then stamped few details in a contrast colour (Broken China). Sprayed lightly with water, using paper towel to remove the excess water and dried again.
Using a watercolour graphite pencil I added more depth to few details of the stamped images before the next step.

Ho aggiunto dei pezzi di washi tape ed ho evidenziato e scurito l'area intorno usando i Distress Crayon Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain e Black Soot.

I added few strips of different washi tapes then deepened the areas all around them using Distress Crayons: Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo, Walnut Stain and Black Soot.

Poi ho usato il Distress Oxide Ripe Persimmon con un secondo stencil, per aggiungere un paio di dettagli a contrasto.

Then used Distress Oxide Ripe Persimmon with another stencil to add some contrast.

Su cartoncino bianco ho ristampato le immagini che volevo in evidenza, le ho coperte con Gesso trasparente, le ho ritagliate, aggiunto ombreggiature e dettagli con grafite nera e penne gel metallizzate oro e argento, spessorate con dei pezzetti di cartone sul retro ed incollate.

On white cardstock I have stamped again the images I wanted to be more visible, covered with Clear Gesso, fussy cut them, added more shadows and few details with graphite pencil and gold and silver gel pens, then added some piece of spare cardstock on the back, for more thickness and glued them in place.

Ed ora i dettagli: ho fustellato vari ingranaggi e li ho ricoperti di gesso nero. Su alcuni ho steso delle cere, poi con il Distress Crayon Black Soot e un acrilico turchese ho creato un look invecchiato. Su un paio ho picchiettato le paste ruggine di Finnabair e sempre l'acrilico turchese per dare l'idea dell'ossidazione.

Now on with the details: I have die cut different gears and cogs and covered them with black gesso; some are aged using metallique waxes, Distress Crayon Black Soot and turquoise acrylic paint. On a couple of gears I have used Finnabair Rust paste and the turquoise paint to achieve an oxidized effect.

Ho usato una delle nuove fustelle di  AALL & Create ideata da Bipasha Bk (suoi anche i timbri principali che ho usato) che ho invecchiato sempre con le cere. I numeri sono ritagliati da un timbro creato da Olga Heldwein : dopo aver timbrato l'immagine l'ho ricoperta con Distress Collage Medium 'Vitage', ho asciugato ed ho passato in modo non uniforme un tampone per embossing e ricoperto con la polvere per embossing Baked Texture Vintage Beeswax. Ho poi aggiunto i vari Distress Crayons usati in precedenza, sfumandoli uno alla volta per creare un'effetto grunge ed invecchiato.
(Ho giocato con la tecnica mostrata da Tim Holtz in uno dei suoi ultimi live sui Distress Crayons e sulle polveri da embossing Distress Embossing Glaze...che ovviamente non ho...ANCORA, quindi ho usato la Baked Texture di Seth Apter che comunque adoro e l'effetto finale mi piace molto)
Per concludere l'immancabile Paper Doll ed una Quote Chip come sentiment, ed una pioggia di gocce di inchiostro nero.

I have used one of the new dies from AALL & Create designed by Bipasha Bk (who designed also the stamps used as main images), and I aged it with waxes and Crayons like the gears. The numbers are cut outs from a stamp designed by Olga Heldwein: after stamping the image I covered it with Distress Collage Medium 'Vintage', dried, swiped with an embossing pad and covered with Baked Texture 'Vintage Beeswax' embossing powder. Added the Distress Crayons used on the washi tapes, one at a time, spreading them with my fingers to get an aged and grunge look.
(I have played with the technique shown by Tim Holtz in one of his latest live about Distress Crayons and Distress Embossing Glazes that obviously I do not have...YET, hence I have used Seth Apter Baked Texture which I love by the way and I am really satisfied by the results).
My final touches a Paper Doll, a Quote Chip as sentiment and few drops of black ink.

Ciao a tutti! Eccomi di nuovo con una Tag, che novità eh? Lol!

Questa volta però è per la Sfida mensile del gruppo Mixed Medi@ Italia... questo mese abbiamo pensato di immergerci nei colori, visto il periodo non propriamente positivo, quindi...bando alle ciance...ecco a voi la Moodboard per le #12MMITags2020 di Marzo...

Hello everyone! I'm back with a new Tag, you don't say! Lol!

This time though it's for the monthly challenge in our Facebook Group Mixed Medi@ Italia...for this month we decided to delve into a rainbow of colours, especially needed during these times of turmoil and fear, so...without further ado...here's the new Moodboard for   #12MMITags2020 - March...

Ora, io penso ai colori e mi viene in mente Frida Kahlo, ho quindi deciso di unire entrambi in questa Tag...iniziamo:

Now...usually when I think about colours I also think about Frida Kahlo, so I have decided to merge both into this Tag...let's begin:

Ho usato un cartoncino di media grammatura e l'ho ricoperto con Idea-Ology Collage Paper - Halloween di Tim Holtz, usando il Soft Matte Gel di Finnabair, poi ho dato una mano di Gesso Clear e delle pennellate molto lievi di Heavy Gesso Bianco, sempre di Finnabair.

I have used medium weight cardstock, covered with Tim Holtz Idea-Ology Collage Paper - Halloween, using Finnabair Soft Matte Gel, then I covered everything with Clear Gesso and few strokes of Heavy White Gesso.

Ho aggiunto dei dettagli con uno stencil e la Pasta Stencil Light di TommyArt, fatto asciugare e poi ho spruzzato con gli inchiostry spray Flat Fabio della Lindy's Stamp Gang: Plumeria Pink, Magical Mai Tai, Rizzo's Rowdy Red, Ocean Breeze Blue, Aloha Avocado. La prima volta ho spruzzato il colore, aggiunto acqua e fatto colare, togliendo l'eccesso, poi ho asciugato bene prima di passare al colore successivo. Una volta completato il primo passaggio, ho ripetuto il tutto, senza usare l'acqua, per avere un'effetto più intenso.

Ho fatto asciugare bene e poi ho passato il Wink of Stella Bianco della Zig sulle scritte in rilievo.

Added details using TommyArt Stencil Paste light and a Stencil, let it dry then used Flat Fabios by Lindy's Stamp Gang: Plumeria Pink, Magical Mai Tai, Rizzo's Rowdy Red, Ocean Breeze Blue, Aloha Avocado

For the first step I sprayed a colour, then added water to make it 'run', taking the eccess off with a paper towel, dry it very well and moved to the next colour. Then I repeated the process, this time without adding water, to achieve more intense results.

Let it dry very well then used White Wink of Stella Brush by Zig on the raised words.

Ho timbrato la tag utilizzando un timbro della Prima che assomiglia ad una pennellata, e come inchiostri ho usato i Distress Oxides: Peeled Paint, Spices Marmalade, Aged Mahogany, poi ho ripassato tutti i bordi con il Distess ink Black Soot.

Ho quindi disegnato la mia Frida su cartoncino spesso e l'ho colorata usando brush pens acquarellabili, Zig e Tombow, pastelli Prismacolor e Polychromos.

Poi ho usato uno stencil della 13@rts 'Doily' e la pasta stencil per creare l'effetto 'pizzo'.

I fiori, timbro Moda Scrap ed il cuore, timbro 'Blooming Heart' di AALL&Create,  li ho colorati con i Prismacolor.. mi sono divertita tantissimo.

Per finire ho timbrato un sentiment, timbro Visible Image, su vellum e l'ho embossato con la polvere Clear della Ranger.

I stamped the tag using Distress Oxide Inks: Peeled Paint, Spices Marmalade, Aged Mahogany and a 'brush stroke' stamp by Prima, then darkened the edges with Distress ink Black Soot.

Then I drew my Frida on white cardstock and added colour using watercolour brush pens,  Zig and Tombow, Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils.

I have used a stencil by 13@rts 'Doily' and Stencil paste to create the 'lace' effect.

I have coloured the flowers, a stamp by Moda Scrap, and the heart, AALL&Create stamp 'Blooming Heart' designed by Olga Heldwein, using Prismacolor pencils...and I had so much fun.

As finishing detail I have stamped the sentiment, a Visible Image stamp, on vellum and then embossed with Clear Embossing Powder by Ranger.

Ciao a tutti e bentornati su queste pagine! Senza dilungarmi troppo, che già questo post sarà lunghetto, passo a presentarvi la mia versione della SFIDA DEL LUNEDI' sul Blog di SIMON SAYS STAMP: TAG IT! - Cioè la sfida della settimana è fare una Tag, ed i prodotti nello spotlight sono quelli di Tim Holtz.. ma daiiii...ditelo che mi stavate aspettando...he he he...

Hello everyone and welcome back on these pages! Without further ado, since this will be a quite long post, here's my take on this week's challenge on SIMON SAYS STAMP MONDAY CHALLENGE Blog: TAG IT! - I mean, guys...the challenge is to make a Tag, showcasing Tim Holtz products? C'mon...say it...you were waiting for me, right? he he he....

Per questo progetto ho usato una Mini Tag Etcetera, che tanto mini non è visto che misura circa 20,5 x 11,5 cm, cioè 8x4 1/2 inches. L'ho ricoperta con un foglio di Worn Wallpaper usando il Distress Collage Medium Vintage, ho ritagliato l'eccesso e distressato i bordi con carta vetrata.

Ho aggiunto alcune pennellate di Medium qua e là per aumentare il tocco Vintage, e poi ho ricoperto tutto con Gesso Clear, per togliere l'effetto lucido - che a me personalmente non piace, specie su progetti dai toni Vintage come questo, ma ripeto è un gusto personale, quindi potete saltare questo step.

For this project I have used an Etcetera Mini Tag, which is not mini at all, since measures 8"x4 1/2".

I covered with a sheet of Worn Wallpaper using Distress Collage Medium Vintage to adhere it. Cut out the excess and distressed the edges with sand paper. Added few more strokes of Medium to enhance the Vintage look, and once dry covered everything with Clear Gesso, to erase the 'shine effect' - I don't really like a shiny look expecially on Vintage projects, but it's just personal taste, so if it doesn't bother you, just skip this step.

Per il passo successivo ho aggiunto dei dettagli con lo stencil e la pasta stencil, fatto asciugare e poi dei pezzi di design tape in alcuni punti

For the next step I added few details using Roses Stencil and stenci paste, let that air dry and then added few pieces of design tape.

Ho poi timbrato le rose dal set 'Lady Rose' con il Versafine Onyx Black e le ho colorate una prima volta con il D.I. Victorian Velvet ed un pennello a serbatoio.

I stamped the roses from the stamp set 'Lady Rose' using Versafine ink Onyx Black, then added some colour using D.I. Victorian Velvet and a water brush.

Con il blending tool ho passato una mano leggera di D.I. Vintage Photo sulle immagini e poi ho intensificato il colore con Victorian Velvet e le ombre con i pastelli Polychromos Dark Sepia e Black Soft.

With a blending tool I added a light layer of  D.I. Vintage Photo on the stamped images, then deepened the colour with Victorian Velvet and shadows using Polychromos pastels Dark Sepia and Black Soft.

Ho aggiunto un po' di colore alla Tag, prima con il D.O. spray Victorian Velvet, aggiunto acqua e fatto colare. Asciugato, tamponato eccesso e poi ho aggiunto D.O. Pumice Stone e Frayed Burlap, premendo su un pezzo di acetato, spruzzato con acqua e premuto a sua volta sulla tag in vari punti.

Fatto asciugare molto bene e poi ho usato i Distress Crayons Vintage Photo e Black Soot per scurire il design tape, le parti in rilievo ed i bordi della Tag.

Added some colour with D.O. spray Victorian Velvet, spritzed with water to let it run a bit, then dried and lifted the excess of water with a paper towel, then 'smushed' D.O. Pumice Stone and Frayed Burlap on a piece of acetate, added water and pressed onto the tag, here and there. Let it dry very well, then with Distress Crayons Vintage Photo and Black Soot darkened around the design tape, the raised bits and along the borders of the Tag.

Per ultimo ho fustellato questa cornice, coperta con gesso nero, poi ho aggiunto i D.C. metallics Tarnished Brass e Antiqued Bronze, con qualche tocco di Black Soot per dare l'idea dell'invecchiato.

As final touch, I die cut this frame, covered with black gesso and then with D.C. metallics Tarnished Brass and Antiqued Bronze, with few touches of Black Soot, for a worn look.

Ho poi assemblato il tutto, ritagliando le rose, aggiungendo della garza e dei pezzi di pizzo, una farfalla dal set Ephemera Thrift Shop, ed infine una Baseboard Doll (sono le nuove Paper Dolls in versione rinforzata ed ovviamente le adoro!)  ed una Quote Chip per finire il tutto.

Started to assemble all the pieces: fussy cut the roses, added some gauze, scraps of lace , a butterfly from the Ephemera pack Thrift Shop, a Baseboard Doll (which is a thicker and sturdier version of Paper Dolls, and obviously totally love them!) and a Quote Chip as final touch.

E con questo è tutto...grazie per essere passati di qua...ed essere arrivati in fondo a questo post!

Simon Says...ROAD TRIP!

Ciao e bentornati! Finalmente è primavera...e nonostante l'aria gelida, le nostre giornate sono illuminate dal sole...quindi non potevo non fare un progetto dai colori primaverili...no...aspetta...ha ha ha...certo io...figurarsi...! La verità è che non vedevo l'ora di usare il mio nuovo set di timbri 'THEORIES' di Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous...e gentilmente Simon mi ha accontentata...infatti il tema della sfida settimanale del Lunedì è 'ROAD TRIP'...perfetto no?

Hello and welcome back! Finally it's Spring...though air is still chilly, sun is here and shining...hence I could not avoid to make something with bright and fresh colours...no ...wait..ha ha ha...right...me...go figure! Truth is I couldn't wait to use my new stamp set 'THEORIES' by Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous...and kindly Simon obliged...because the new theme of the  Monday challenge is 'ROAD TRIP'...perfect isn't it?

Ho creato della texture con la Modeling Paste e gli stencil, poi ho passato il pannello in vari Distress Oxides stesi sul Craft Mat, ho spruzzato acqua ed asciugato. Ho scurito i bordi con i Distress Inks  e con i Distress Crayons, con i quali ho evidenziato anche le parti in rilievo.
Con archival ink nero ho aggiunto qualche timbrata e fatto cadere delle gocce di inchiostro nero.
Ho colorato con i Distress Oxides un cartoncino lucido per Alcohol inks, poi ho timbrato con lo Stazon nero e ripassato tutto con Distress Micro Glaze.
Ho timbrato una scritta sul vellum ed embossata usando polvere nera.
Infine ho assemblato il tutto.

I have created some texture with Modeling Paste and stencils, then run the panel into Distress Oxide inks on a Craft Mat, spritzed with water and dried. Distressed and darkened the edges with Distress Inks and Distress Crayons, used also to enhance the stenciled parts.
Stamped with archival black ink and spattered with black ink.
Used Distress Oxide inks on a glossy Alcohol inks cardstock, stamped with black Stazon ink and layered with Distress Micro Glaze.
Stamped and embossed with black powder a sentiment on vellum  and assembled.

Ciao a tutti! Buon giorno di San Patrizio!!! Dai...lo sapete che io adoro l'Irlanda...potevo forse non approfittare della festa del Patrono dell'isola di Smeraldo? Quindi prima di lasciarvi per andare a cucinare lo stufato alla Guinness, volevo farvi vedere il mio 'Dapper Man' preferito nella versione 'folletto irlandese'...

Hello everyone! Happy Saint Patrick's Day!!! C'mon...you know that I am in love with Ireland...obviously I took the chance to have some fun for the Saint Patron of the Emerald Isle! So, before I start cooking a yummy (hopefully) Guinness Stew, I wanted to show you my fav Dapper Man in a 'Leprechaun' version...

Indovinate? Bravi!!! Ancora Distress Oxides, Cartoncino per Alcohol inks e Distress Micro Glaze...che ci posso fare...mi diverto troppo!

Prima ho steso i Distress Oxides sul cartoncino con un blending tool, dividendo l'area in tre parti, partendo dal più chiaro, Twisted Citron ed aggiungendo gli altri. Poi una volta asciutto ho steso il colore sul craft mat, spruzzato con acqua e ci ho passato dentro la card. Continuare con i vari colori fino ad ottenere il risultato che più vi piace. Poi ho aggiunto il Distress Ink Mowed Lawn, sempre sul craft mat e raccolto con la card. Una volta tutto asciutto ho timbrato il Dapper Man (timbro Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz 'Dapper' set) con lo Stazon Jet Black ed ho colorato gli spazi chiari con il Distress Marker Twisted Citron. Ho ripassato i bordi con il Distress ink Black Soot, ho asciugato con un heat tool e poi ho steso un velo di Distress Micro Glaze...lucidato con un panno pulito e voilà...ecco tutte le tonalità di verde che mi ricordano la bella Irlanda!
Ho incollato il cartoncino su di un pezzo di iuta, mattato su cartoncino nero e poi ho aggiunto gli abbellimenti: una Quote Chip ed uno Small Talk sticker (Idea-ology Tim Holtz), infine un charm a forma di quadrifoglio, trovato tra le mie cose.
A questo punto ho deciso di far diventare questa 'card' un quadretto motivazionale...da tenere sulla scrivania...giusto per quando mi sento un po' giù...allora ho incollato il tutto su una cornice in legno dell'Ikea, già colorata di bianco...quando guardo il mio 'folletto' mi sento già fortunata! Lol!

Guess what? Yes...  more Distress Oxides,  Alcohol inks cardstock and  Distress Micro Glaze...what can I say...I'm having too much fun!

Blended the Distress Oxides directly on the cardstock with the  blending tool, trying to divide the area in three segments, so to speak, started with Twisted Citron then added the other two colours. Once dry added the colours on the craft mat, spritzed with water and picked them up with the card. Keep going until satisfied. Dried well then added on the mat Distress Ink Mowed Lawn, and repeated the gig. Used Stazon Jet Black to stamp the Dapper Man (Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz 'Dapper' stamp set) adding few touches with Distress Marker Twisted Citron, then  Distress ink Black Soot on the borders, dried then blended in with a very light amount of  Distress Micro Glaze...polished with a cloth et voilà...here I can see all the shades of green that remind me of beautiful Ireland!
Glued the cardstock onto a piece of  burlap, then onto black cardstock. Added also few embellishments: a Quote Chip and a  Small Talk sticker (Idea-ology Tim Holtz), then a Shamrock charm I have found in my stash.
This is when I have decided to turn this card into an Inspirational piece and keep it onto my desk...to help me fight the 'hard' times, and lift me up...so I have attached it to an Ikea wooden frame, that was already coloured in white... when I look at my 'Leprechaun' ...I feel lucky, already! Lol!
