Ciao a tutti e benvenuti al mio ultimo appuntamento con l'ATC Challenge come DT per HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS...è stato bello tenervi compagnia con le mie ATC per questi 6 mesi e ringrazio Kylie per questa occasione!

Hello everyone and welcome to my last post as DT member for the HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS ATC Challenge...I really enjoyed the past 6 month creating ATCs for the Challenges and I thank Kylie for this chance!

Ho volutamente tenuto le mie ATC il più possibile semplici questa volta...ho utilizzato del cartoncino spesso per acquerello tagliato a misura...(che vi ricordo sono 2.5 x 3.5 pollici o 64 x 89 mm)   ed ho aggiunto il colore usando degli inchiostri spray (in questo caso gli Ink Extreme di TommyArt)
Ho fatto cadere delle gocce di ink su un pezzo di acetato, ho spruzzato con acqua e  ci ho schiacciato sopra l'ATC, ho fatto colare un po' il colore ed asciugato, poi ho schizzato direttamente sul cartoncino il colore non diluito...i colori utilizzati sono diversi per ogni ATC...Senape e Tiffany. Con inchiostro nero Archival ho timbrato la parola 'SMILE' usando il mini set 'Camera' di Inkadinkado, poi con lo StazOn Jet Black ho timbrato la macchina fotografica su vellum ed attaccato all'ATC con la spillatrice...

I  did intentionally go for a simple look this time...used heavy watercolour cardstock and cut to size (which, I remind you is 2.5 x 3.5 inches or 64 x 89 mm) and added colours using spray inks (here I have used TommyArt Ink Extreme).
I added few drops of colour to a piece of acetate, spritzed with water and 'smooshed' the cardstock into the puddle, let drip and dry, then splatter with drops of colour and set aside to dry. I have used a different colour for each ATC...Mustard and Tiffany. With black Archival ink I have stamped the word 'SMILE' from the mini set 'Camera' by Inkadinkado, then with StazOn Jet Black I have stamped the actual Camera on vellum and attached to the ATC with a stapler...

Mi piace questo look 'Soft' che valorizza il timbro...non trovate siano perfette anche per aggiungere un tocco particolare ad uno Smash Book o nelle note di Viaggio in un Traveller's Notebook?

I really like this softer look, which enhance the stamped image...don't you think they would look great in a Smash Book or in a Traveller's Notebook?

Mi è piaciuto tanto questo effetto che ho deciso di fare la versione italiana....avevo da qualche tempo il timbro perfetto che aspettava solo il momento giusto...

I loved this effect so much, that I have decided to make also an Italian version of it, using a stamp created by a dear friend of mine...

Il meraviglioso Cappellaio Matto dal set di Alice ed il bellissimo timbro 'SE SORRIDI VIENE MEGLIO' creato dalla mia amica MIR, entrambi di Impronte d'Autore. Per questi due ho usato il Bordeaux e lo Smeraldo, aggiungendo delle NUVO drops qua e là.

Per queste ATC ho inaugurato il Distress Resist Spray che ho spruzzato su cartoncino Kraft, poi ho versato della polvere per embossing oro, tolto l'eccesso ed embossato. Mi piace tantissimo questo effetto...Ho aggiunto altri tocchi 'dorati' usando la cera Metallique Vintage Gold di Prima/Finnabair e lo Splash Ink Gold della 13Arts, ed anche se si notano appena, danno comunque più interesse allo sfondo, infine tagliato a misura, cioè 2,5x3,5 pollici.

For these ATCs I finally got to play with my Distress Resist Spray, used onto kraft cardstock then covered with gold embossing powder, shook off the excess and embossed. I really love this effect...Added other 'gilded' touches using Vintage Gold Metallique Wax by Prima/Finnabair and Gold Splash Ink by 13Arts, and even if  you can barely see them, they add more interest to the background, then cut to size the ATCs (that is 2,5x3,5 inches)

Ho poi incollato i vari elementi: fustellate di ingranaggi coperte con Gesso nero e poi con la Metallique Wax, del filo nero, delle dolcissime Paper Dolls di Tim Holtz e la bellissima frase di Tolkien, che ho stampato su cartoncino. 

Then added all the embellishments: die cut gears covered in Black Gesso then highlighted with the Metallique Wax, black thread, lovely tiny Tim Holtz' Paper Dolls and that beautiful quote from Tolkien, that I stamped onto heavy cardstock.

HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS APRIL 2018 ATC CHALLENGE: BUTTERFLY...

Per questa serie di ATC ho preso un foglio pesante per acquerello (300 gr) della dimensione di 24x32 cm (ho usato un blocco della Canson 'Montval') .
Ho steso una mano di gesso trasparente e poi sul retro ho delineato gli spazi delle varie ATC - che vi ricordo devono essere 64x89 mm cioè 2,5x3,5 inches - ricavandone 10. Ho fatto la stessa cosa sul davanti, in modo MOLTO leggero con una matita acquarellabile. Poi in base alle linee di taglio ho iniziato a timbrare con un inchiostro Archival (cioè permanente e resistente all'acqua), ho aggiunto della texture con della modeling paste ed uno stencil e lasciato asciugare bene.
Ho ritagliato le varie ATC ed iniziato ad aggiungere il colore.
Ho colorato con pigmenti in polvere ed inchiostro spray color giallo, ed usato un inchiostro nero steso a pennello per le parti a contrasto, spruzzando con acqua per diluire dove necessario, poi ho ripassato i bordi con il Distress Black Soot.

For these ATCs I started with a sheet of  140 lb watercolour paper measuring 9,4 x 12,6 inches, spread clear gesso then marked both sides with the 'guide/cut lines' fot the ATCs - that must be 2,5x3,5 inches each - obtaining 10 of them. Keeping in mind the lines I added stamped images, with archival ink, then added texture with a stencil and modeling paste, let everything dry well then cut them to size.
Painted with yellow watercolour powders and spray inks, and used a brush to add black ink as contrast, spraying with water as needed...finished with Distress Black Soot on the edges.

Per il punto focale ho timbrato varie volte una farfalla su cartoncino bianco, sempre con inchiostro Archival, e poi mi sono divertita a colorarla con schizzi di colore nero e giallo, andando a riempire maggiormente alcune zone, per aumentare il contrasto. Poi le ho ritagliate ed incollate alle ATC.

For my focal point I stamped various times a buttefly on white cardstock, then added colour simply by flicking drops of yellow and black, and adding more colour only in few spots, for more contrast.
Then fussy cut them and glued to the ATCs.

Ho intitolato questa serie di ATC 'JUST SPARKLE – Little Women' in onore della Festa della Donna appena trascorsa...per ricordarci di non far MAI affievolire quella meravigliosa scintilla che ci rende uniche...

I have named this serie 'JUST SPARKLE – Little Women' ...to honour Women's Day, that was just few days ago...to always remember NEVER to let diminish that wonderful sparkle which makes us unique...

Ho usato una striscia di carta per acquerello che avevo avanzato da un'altro progetto, di circa

4x11 pollici – tenete sempre presente che le misure delle ATC sono 2,5x3,5 pollici -

spruzzando in sezioni con i seguenti spray Starburst della Lindy's Stamp Gang:

• Time Travel Teal
• Hydrangea Blue
• Screamin' Banshee Black

asciugando tra un colore e l'altro, e spruzzando una seconda volta solo in alcune zone, per creare piu' giochi di luce (dal momento che questi colori , una volta asciutti hanno degli effetti 'brillantinosi' fantastici)

I have used a strip of watercolour paper, a leftover from another project, of about 4x11 inches – always keep in mind that ATCs dimensions are 2,5x3,5 inches – and sprayed the following Starburst sprays by Lindy's Stamp Gang, trying to divide them in sections:

• Time Travel Teal
• Hydrangea Blue
• Screamin' Banshee Black

always drying before adding the next colour, and spraying twice only in few spots, to create even more shimmering effects.

Dopo di che ho tagliato le ATC a misura, poi ho aggiunto del Gloss gel con uno stencil  – lavate immediatamente stencil e spatola!

Ho lasciato asciugare all'aria.

After that I have cut to the proper size the ATCs, then added Gloss gel through a stencil – please remember to wash immediately both stencil and palette knife!

Let that air dry.

Ora dobbiamo solo aggiungere gli abbellimenti...con un'alfabeto a piacere ho creato la parola 'SPARKLE', l'ho timbrata con un tampone per embossing e poi ricoperta con polvere per embossing bianca. Ho fustellato delle stelline usando della gomma crepla glitterata, e creato dei puntini con un punch, poi ho scelto 4 Piccole Donne dalle Paper Dolls di Tim Holtz, aggiunto del filo bianco e 3 strass su ogni ATC.

Now it's time to embellish our ATCs...I have created the word 'SPARKLE' using an alphabet stamp set, stamped with Versamark ink then embossed using white embossing powder. I have die-cut 4 little stars from a glittered foam sheet and punched out few dots as well. Then chose 4 Little Women from Tim Holtz's Paper Dolls, added white thread and 3 iridescent stones on each ATC.

Happy Little Stampers February Challenge: HEARTS

Ciao a tutti e bentornati su queste pagine...Ci stiamo avvicinando a grandi passi a San Valentino, quindi il tema della  ATC CHALLENGE di FEBBRAIO di HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS non poteva che essere HEARTS!

Ho steso dell'abbondante Gesso bianco sul cartoncino da acquerello, creando zone più o meno marcate per dare più texture...poi con l'aiuto di uno stencil ho steso anche della Modeling Paste. Ho lasciato asciugare bene prima di aggiungere i colori...

Added a fair amount of White Gesso on my watercolour cardstock, creating ridges and strokes for more texture...then with the help of a stencil, added also Modeling Paste. I let it air dry very well before starting the fun part with colours...

Ho usato dei pigmenti in polvere (tipo Rainbow colors della 13Arts, i Brushos, i Color Bursts di Ken Oliver, Infusions della PaperArtsy) di colore rosso, lasciati cadere direttamente sul cartoncino e poi spruzzati con acqua. Ho mosso la card per far spostare il colore a piacimento e poi asciugato...

I have used powdered watercolour pigments (like 13Arts' Rainbow Colors, Brushos, Ken Oliver's Color Bursts, PaperArtsy's Infusions) in a red colour, sprinkled directly on the cardstock and then spritzed with water. I tilted the card to move the colour around and finally dried with a heat tool...

Ho aggiunto degli accenti color oro, prima con un inchiostro molto diluito  e poi con un pastello a cera metallizzato (tipo Gelatos o Distress Crayons) ho ripassato i bordi strofinandoci sopra il dito per accentuare i tocchi dorati...

I added few gold touches, first with a very diluted ink, then I 'smushed' all around the border a metallic crayon (like Gelatos or Distress Crayons) to enhance the gold...

Ho iniziato ad assemblare il tutto: primo ho fustellato dei cuori con un punch, usanso pagine di un libro e del cartoncino nero...su quest'ultimo ho steso della cera color oro. Ho aggiunto del filo ed il sentiment creato con la Dymo.

I started to assemble my ATCs: first of all I punched out few hearts, using book pages and black cardstock...on the latter I added few touches of gold wax. Then glued down some thread and the sentiment created with the Dymo.

First post for HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS: ATC January Challenge....

Ciao a tutti e bentornati su queste pagine...Oggi inizia la mia avventura con HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS, infatti sono entrata a far parte del ATC CHALLENGE DESIGN TEAM...per i prossimi 6 mesi  potrete trovare un mio tutorial di ispirazione per la Challenge...Iniziamo con 'ALBERI'!

Hello everyone and welcome back on these pages...Today starts my adventure with HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS, as a member of their ATC CHALLENGE DESIGN TEAM...for the next 6 months you will find an inspirational tutorial for the ongoing Challenge...Let's start with 'TREES'!

Sono partita da un cartoncino per acquerello di grammatura abbastanza spessa lungo 19,2 cm e alto 8,9 cm, e con l'aiuto di un Blending Tool ho steso i seguenti Distress Inks, cercando di sfumare ogni nuovo colore in quello precedente.
Lavorate sul lato lungo, dal basso verso l'alto:
- Antique Linen
- Cracked Pistachio
- Broken China
- Salty Ocean
- Stormy Sky
- Black Soot

I have used a 7,5"x 3,5" strip of heavy watercolor cardstock and with the help of a blending tool I have added the following Distress Inks, trying to blend each new colour added with the previous one.
Work on the long side, from bottom to top:
- Antique Linen
- Cracked Pistachio
- Broken China
- Salty Ocean
- Stormy Sky
- Black Soot

Poi ho usato un timbro con l'immagine di alberi e l'ho stampato usando il Distress Oxide Iced Spruce a circa 1 cm dal bordo...poi ho ritimbrato la stessa immagine leggermente sfalsata, usando questa volta un Timbro Archival (resistente all'acqua) di colore nero.

Then I have used a 'Trees'  stamp with Distress Oxide Iced Spruce, at about 1/2 inch from the bottom...then I have stamped again the same image, this time slightly off-set, with an Archival Black Ink. 

Ora è il momento di tagliare in 3 parti la nostra striscia per creare le ATC che ricordiamolo devono essere 2,5 x 3,5 pollici cioè 6,4 x 8,9 cm.
Una volta ritagliate ho ripassato i bordi con Distress Ink Black Soot poi ho ritagliato 3 cerbiatti con una fustella da cartoncino Kraft e li ho incollati sulle ATC insieme a degli alberelli decorativi che avevo da tempo in casa.

Now it's time to cut in 3 parts our strip, in order to create the ATCs, that must be 2,5 x 3,5 inches.
Then I have enhanced the borders using Distress Ink Black Soot...I have used 3 fawn die-cuts and some trees embellishments I had in my stash.
