Hello everyone and welcome back! Today I am showing you a Tag that I have made for MarteLAB DT...in a 'under the sea' style...let's start...
Die cut a Tag using Tim Holtz Alterations/Sizzix 'Tag Collection set' dies and heavy watercolour cardstock. Added White Gesso, then modeling paste with Tim Holtz layering stencil 'Mosaic'...while the paste was still wet I sprinkled some Seth Apter's BAKED TEXTURE 'DEEP SEA' by Emerald Green, and dried.
Then sprayed the Tag with water and added PaperArtsy INFUSION SLEIGHT BLUE, added more water and let the colour drip and dried.
Added 13Arts Navy Blue Rainbow Colour Duo then TommyArt INK EXTREME 'PETROLEUM', always adding water.
Added embossing Ink to the bottom of the Tag and more Deep Sea Baked Texture, heat embossed and glued two sea shells, then added a bit of DIRTY SAND Baked Texture and embossed again.
Drybrushed with white gesso, and started assembling the pieces...seaweeds are diecut with Tim Holtz Alterations/Sizzix 'Mini Holiday Greens' set and the words are from 'Handwritten Journey' set (I embossed these with Deep Sea baked texture), the sentiment is a SMALL TALK
sticker by Tim Holtz, that I cut in two.
The lovely seahorse is from Aall and Create stamp set #67...I painted it with Distress Oxide Inks: Candied Apple and Broken China, then embossed the seahorse with Clear Embossing Powder by Ranger and added few touches of Clear Wink of Stella of the wing.
Added also few Nuvo Crystal Drops in Simply White, for the bubbles...they lift some colour from the background, and I must say that I really like this effect!

I adore this tag! I have never ever seen a seahorse with wings, so you get huge points for creativity on that part alone! And the colors are so beautifully blended!
