Simon says...SPLASH IT ON !

Ciao a tutti! Eccomi a voi con una nuova pagina del mio Art Journal ed una nuova sfida del LUNEDI di SIMON SAYS STAMP...Il nuovo tema è 'SPLASH IT ON'...in pratica tutto ciò che ha a che fare con acqua, spruzzi, spray e via dicendo...

Hello everyone! Here I am today with a new page of my Art Journal and a new MONDAY Challenge over at SIMON SAYS STAMP Blog...the new theme is 'SPLASH IT ON'...so water, splashing, water colouring and so on...

Per questa pagina mi sono ispirata ad una foto fatta qualche tempo fa...eravamo in macchina sotto un diluvio e questo è ciò che ho visto...

For this page I got my inspiration from a picture taken some time ago...we were in the car, under a pouring rain and this is what I saw..

Così ho iniziato prima a far cadere qua e là i pigmenti in polvere Rainbow Colors della 13@rts ed attivarli con acqua, poi ho iniziato a spruzzare con i Moon Shadow Mists di Lindy's Stamp Gang diluiti con acqua per far spostare il colore. Una volta asciutto ho usato il colore Rainbow Color Duo Navy Blue della 13@rts e spruzzato abbondante acqua per coprire quasi tutta la pagina. Ho asciugato bene e poi ho fatto cadere delle gocce di acqua per ricreare l'effetto delle gocce sul vetro...ho aggiunto una timbrata con inchiostro nero ed ho colorato i bordi con il colore acrilico Dylusions Black Marble. Per finire ho aggiunto una tag sulla quale ho scritto la mia frase, aggiungendo delle parole scritte con la Dymo, per dare un tocco in più.

First of all I have used Rainbow Colors watercolor powders by 13@rts reactivated with water, then started spraying with Lindy's Stamp Gang Moon Shadow Mists, adding water to make the color run. Once dry I sprinkled some Navy Blue Rainbow Color Duo by 13@rts and sprayed a lot of water in order to keep the color moving and almost cover the entire page. When dry I 'splashed' the page with water to create that 'droplet' effect on the window...added an image stamped with black ink and painted all around with Black Marble Dylusions Paint. I wrote a phrase on a tag, adding a couple of words written with my Dymo and glued it to the page.

Hopefully in this picture you can see the Moon Shadow Mists shimmery effect and the 'changing color effect' of the Rainbow Colors Duo.
